Aro laughed and nodded, he remembered the last time Santiago had cooked for Elizabeth. She had not been impressed, "No, you need not worry, I've heard that Esme, Carlisle's mate, enjoys cooking. I'm sure she'll keep you well fed." he said "Well, if your Uncles agree with me," he internally snorted, of course they would agree with him, "Then we may be able to leave by the end of the month" He wanted to leave as soon as possible, especially now he knew Elizabeth was looking forward to it, he would do anything to keep his little princess happy. He would need to have a word with Sulpicia, to see if she wanted to join then, he knew she didn't like to leave Volterra but he also knew her love for her daughter was stronger.

Elizabeth smiled and hugged her Dad. "You'll have to help me with my English. I'm not that good with it." She held her dad's hand, letting him see the memory of her last English lesson with her Uncle Marcus. She had done horribly, and it caused her to get extremely frustrated. She felt more comfortable with her dad anyways. He was the closest person she had in her life, her mother a close second. She did love her mother, but she always seemed to have some sort of close connection with her dad.

Aro smiled and lifted his hand, brushed her hair behind her ear and cupped her face. "I really wouldn't worry, you're definately improving. Maybe some extra lessons would help, and even if you still don't quite have the hang of it before we go, I'll be with you so I can help and quite a few of the members of Carlisle's coven are fluent in Italian any so they would understand. You're still young though, you have quite a few years to learn fluent English" he chuckled, thinking of how, when Elizabeth would be changed, she'd have the rest of eternity to learn any language she wanted. He smiled at his daughter and kissed her forehead.

Elizabeth smiled at Aro. He always tried to downplay her flaws, no matter how pronounced they were. She didn't have any idea why he would do so, but he always seemed concerned for her well being, no matter how happy she was. She didn't mind the attention. But sometimes she was afraid that she was being spoiled too often. "Is mother coming with us to visit the Cullens?" She knew how much her mother hated leaving Volterra, but she secretly hoped she would.

"I'm afraid I'm not sure, I haven't had a chance to ask her," he sighed, He had a feeling she'd rather stay in the castle, even after all her years as a vampire she still wasn't that comfortable being around humans, it truly was a tempting scent. "Although she may want to stay here with your Aunt." he mused, she did spend most of her time with Athenodora, when she wasn't with their daughter or his self.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and laughed. "Of course she wants to stay with Aunt Athenodora. They're together all the time!" She knew her mother and her aunt were cousins, but they were still close. She hoped she could have a friend that close to spend her time with throughout her immortal life. The newest guard member, Eve, had become good friends with Elizabeth, but Eve was gone a lot on guard business. "Do Carlisle and his coven know about me?" It was an honest question. She highly doubted it, she was the Volturi's best-kept secret. Any vampires who came to visit were always astounded to sense her in the castle.

Aro rubbed his neck sheepishly, and averted is gaze. "Well, no actually. I haven't had a chance to tell them. I was going to surprise them." he smiled. He hadn't had a chance to speak to Carlisle, he was planning on calling him before they left, just to warn him that he wouldn't be visiting alone. And that the trip was purely for pleasure not business."I wouldn't worry though, Mia cara. Everyone will love you!"he beamed.

Eliabeth nodded. She understood. After all, if the rest of the vampire community knew that the Volturi themselves were keeping a human with them, all Hell could break loose. "I hope they do." She honestly felt nervous about meeting the Cullens. Carlisle was an important friend, and she hoped that she would be able to make a good impression on him and his coven.

"I'm sure they will. Carlisle is incredibly understanding, and I'm sure his coven will be the same," he said, smiling at her. He really hoped that everything would be OK. He wouldn't let anyone harm his daughter. No matter whether they were human or vampire, no one would ever come near his daughter with malicious thoughts.

Elizabeth nodded. She had heard of the doctor and his compassionate nature. He would understand. She decided to switch topics. "What were you planning on doing there? I mean, I know you're going to visit Carlisle, but was there anything else you were planning on doing?" She knew that she would probably be with the Cullens the whole time or in the hotel, but that would keep her occupied for a long time. She was curious if there was something else he was wanting to do while in the U.S.

"Well, mainly the visit is purely to visit an old friend," Aro smiled "But I'm sure your Uncles will want to talk bussiness aswell, you know how they are," he laughed. He knew he would probably want to talk to the coven about joining the guard aswell, but Elizabeth didn't need to know that.

Elizabeth sighed. Leave it to Marcus and Caius to ruin a vacation with business. But if Marcus was going, then his personal guard would be going as well. Maybe she and Eve could have a girl's night out or something. "Which members of the guard are going with us?"

Aro thought about it for a moment, "Well, Jane, Alec, Renata, Eve, and i'm sure Felix will be joining too,"he said, smiling at his daughter.

Elizabeth nodded. Felix, Renata and Eve were three of her good friends in the guard. She was happy that they were going. Alec and Jane, she wasn't quite sure about. But then again, she had never exactly liked Jane. She wasn't sure about Alec, though. He left her alone most of the time. She began plucking the violin idly, not really having much to say anymore.
