As Edward ran to the wolves house he was thinking over what he would say. Bella had asked him to talk to Jacob about spending more time patrolling and easing off Seth and less time with Nessie. He didn't mind talking to Jacob about Nessie but felt it wasn't his place to tell Jacob what to do with his pack. 'Here we go' he thought as he got to the door. He opened it and walked straight in, Jacob did the same at his house, then he called Jacob's name.

Jacob was laying on his back, bored. He did have some TV, but nothing good was on, so he retired his thoughts to Nessie ... Until he heard the door open and close. Seth was already home... Bella didn't say she was visiting to day... And his sisters weren't coming home today. He sat upright with a low moan, smelled a leech... It was Edward, probably. Jake laid back down quickly and rested his head on his pillow, closing his eyes just as his room door swung open. When someone approached his nightstand, he opened his eyes, and saw that it was Edward. What the hell was he doing here? Quickly bolting up right, to see him exiting the room. "Excuse me?" said Jacob, not showing a hint of kindess in his tone. "Why are you here? If it's to give me a lecture over eating the last of the granola bars that was in your fridge then I'm sorry I'll give Nessie a refund."

Edward sighed when he heard Jacob's mental anger and choose to ignore the leech comment. 'Jacob your welcome in my home I'm disappointed to see that I'm not in yours. You know I don't care what you eat and I'm pretty sure Nessie hates granola bars anyway.' He tried to ease Jacob's mood the conversation wouldn't probably go well anyway he didn't need Jacob's bad mood to make it worse. Nessie would be upset if Edward fought Jacob so he tried to keep a polite tone. 'Jacob you know things aren't going very smoothly at the moment, I'm actually here to try and sort things out.' He told Jacob truthfully.
