Bella was laying on the couch in the lounge room of the cottage, feeling useless, not wanting Nessie in High School, worried that she was going to see all the other kids with boyfriends and start dating Jake, then marry him and leave her just like she had done to her mother. If she could cry, there would be tears rolling down her cheeks as she worried about her daughter "Nessie" she sobbed to herself quietly

Edward lifted Bella up and pulled her onto his lap. Hugging her closer to him he kissed her forehead. 'Bella love it's going to be okay. Please stop worrying, Nessie is growing up but she's not leaving. She's still our baby and I will always protect her. I love you Bella and seeing you like this hurts me. Please love, don't be upset.' He tried to comfort his wife but she still didn't seem happy, she had always worried about Nessie but if she continued this way her daughter may pull away from her. 'Nessie loves you but she needs to grow up a bit.'

"I hate Jacob" Bella sobbed into Edwards chest "I hate him, he keeps trying to take her away from me, he wont keep his nose out of things that are none of his buisiness, the decisions we make about Nessie are none of his buisness and if we choose to send her to her room then he has to suck it up and live with it" she told him, scared about him taking her baby away from her "It's not fair, he has to realise that shes OUR daughter, not his, we're the boss not him" she said, getting madder and madder at Jacob by the minute

'I know Bella, I agree I don't like him imprinting on her anymore than you do. I don't want her to feel that she is forced by fate into anything, she needs to know if and when she chooses someone it is always her choice. But she is too young at the moment to choose anyone. I know your angry with him and he is frustrating me too but remember he's still part of the family though and you know if Nessie or you were ever in trouble he would be there.' Edward hugged his wife closer trying to comfort her. He knew she was angry and so was he but Nessie would be mortified if they sent Jacob away. He doubted they could now.

Bella shook her head slightly "No" she whispered "He wouldn't come if I was in trouble, he's replaced me with my daughter, and when I have to be her mother he just hates me more and more"

Edward frowned to see Bella so upset, Jacob was always upsetting someone Edward thought angrily. He leaned forward and kissed Bella's forehead 'Bella love i don't think he hates you and I'm glad he's no longer in love with you. Although I'm still not pleased that he may start falling in love with Nessie soon.' Edward told Bella truthfully. 'I love you and so does Nessie, and I'm sure Jacob loves you too.' He smiled at his wife to reassure her that she was loved.

"Everything would be so much easier if he didn't insist on hanging around" Bella sighed, hugging Edward back "Can you do me a favour?" She asked Edward, remembering her promise to Seth "Do you think you could talk to Jacob about doing some patrols himself instead of leaving them all up to all the others and spending all his time with Nessie? I'd like her to have her and you to myself sometimes but shes always with him and Seth's starting to get annoying that Jacob's making him do extra shifts because he isn't doing patrol and Seth wants to spend some time with his girlfriend. Did I tell you that Seth imprinted?" Bella asked, smiling, glad that her friend was happy

Edward didn't really feel he should tell Jacob what to do with his pack but would talk to him about Nessie and Bella. He would try and help Seth out if he could. 'No you didn't. Who did he imprint on? I hope it's not been too complicated.' Although from Bella's smile it looked like it had worked out well. Then he answered Bella's question about Jacob, 'Yes love I will talk to Jacob about Nessie and see what I can do.' He hoped he could make the situation better for everyone, Edward didn't like that his wife and daughter were unhappy.

'Well I'm glad that he is happy. That's quite a high majority of the wolves imprinting, who do you think will be next?' He asked curiously, he smiled at the idea of Leah being the next one that would be interesting. He pulled Bella in tighter as he kissed her with more force than usual, with all these problems with Nessie he hadn't had the chance to kiss her like this in a few days.

Bella happily kissed Edward back, moaning slightly, haveing missed having time alone with him "Leah's the only one left" she murmered into his mouth before she forgot all about what they were talking about, consumed by the kiss, her legs pulling her closer to her husband, her arms around his neck

Edward smiled as Bella pulled herself closer, he was pleased she was happy again he didn't like that the problems with Nessie were making her unhappy. He kissed her back and placed his hand on the small of her back as she leaned in so he could pull her closer to him. 'I love you.' He whispered in her ear as he leant down to kiss her throat.

Edward grinned at Bella's heavy unneccessary breathes. His whole body was alive as his back shivered in pleasure from Bella's touch. The desire and passion he felt for his wife had only grown over the years and each touch seemed to get stronger. Edward moved his lips from Bella's throat down her chest to her stomach and back up. When his lips met Bella's his gentle touch became firmer as he held her tightly and kissed her mouth with more force than usual. If he had a heart beat it would be racing dramatically, and flush would colour his cheeks, his desire was shown through his ragged breathing though.
