Elizabeth laughed. "I know what that's like." She shut her locker door, careful not to touch the lock. She would need to get into the locker again after school to get the coat, and she doubted she would be able to unlock it on her own. "You said you came to my family to try and find a coven. Have you found on yet, or are you a nomad?" It seemed odd to her, like trying to pick a family. She always had her family, so she wouldn't have to deal with that problem when she was turned.

Wren shook her head, No, but, even though, I've made a few friends here, and I only came here because I used to live in Seattle, and cloud cover is better here. She said, her french acent a bit more proamant than normal

"You could always come and stay with us in Volterra. I bet my father would like another guard member." Elizabeth doubted that she would take up the offer. She seemed to wild to agree to the lifestyle of the guard.

Hm, maybe, but I like being able to travel where ever I want. Maybe I'll come visit. Wren said, as the first bell rang. Damn, well, I guess we'd better get to class. What do you have first? She asked Elizabeth.

Elizabeth looked at her schedule. "Orchestra. The one class where Italian is necessicary no matter what country you are in." She looked back at Wren. "I think I know where it is. It's down the hallway with the music notes printed up on the wall, right?"

Wren nodded, "That's it, I have Spanish, I think." She said, looking at her scedual, "Yup," She said, smiling. She was trying to learn another lanuage other than French, becasue she had been speaking French since she was talking.

Elizabeth waved good-bye to Wren, and made her way to the Orchestra room. The class period went slowly, but she was out of class and back in the labrynth of hallways, wishing she could run into Wren again.

Wren quickly got out of spanish, and looked around the crowded hall, looking for Elizabeth. Both were new, and Wren knew where a few more classes were, so she'd help her new friend. Spotting her, Wren some how moved throught the crowd with out touching any humans, and stood next to Elizabeth. What do you have next? She asked.

Elizabeth nearly jumped out of her skin when she heard Wren talking to her. Where had she come from? "English. The one class I will need the most help with. You?" She silently prayed that Wren had English next too, so she could help her.

Wren smiled, Well, then it's a good thing I have english too. She said, showing Elizabeth the class room, and being glad there was an empty seat beside her, she gestured for her to sit next to her.

Elizabeth slid into her seat nervously. She began looking around the classroom, searching for something that could help her make it through the class without making a fool of herself. She looked over at Wren nervously and asked, "The teacher- is she nice?"

Wren smiled at Elizabeth, hoping to help her not be so nervous. "She's farly nice, just try not to get her mad." She said, kindly. The teacher smiled at the new girl, Elizabeth Volturi. Odd name She thought. Class, we have a new student, I want all of you to make her feel welcome. Like that'll happen She added silently Wren, would you be able to show Elizabeth around? She asked one of her better students, who was also very new. But, she was nice, and she seemed like the Cullens had. Wren almost rolled her eyes at the teacher, but nodded, "Of course." Already was She thought.

Elizabeth blushed as she felt the eyes of the curious students on her. She never liked attention, she got a ton of it at home. Sometimes she just wanted to let someone else take the spotlight. As the teacher began the lesson, she tore out a piece of paper from her notebook and scribbled a note.
What is being a nomad like? I only know about what it's like to be in a coven.
She passed it to Wren, hoping she wouldn't get caught in the process.

Wren saw the note Elizabeth was giving her, and opened it, reading it, and pulled out a pencil. It's alright, to me atleast, but it does get boring a lot. No one to talk to, and I'm always moving around, I'm trying to stay here to finish high school. Never did when I was human. She wrote in her perfectly neat handwriting. She, at vampire speed, passed the note back to her new friend.

Almost as soon as she had passed the note over to Wren, it was back. She quickly read the note, and was envious of Wren's neat handwriting, so much different then her barely-legible cursive. She got out her pen and wrote:
I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have my family. They're everything to me. What other classes are you taking and when do you have them?
She slid it back to Wren, and avoided getting caught by the teacher.
