The whole entire area around Forks smelled like vampires. It was odd, or at least to Astrid it was. She lurked quietly in the forest around the house that had the strongest scent. Occasionally Astrid had crossed paths with nomadic vampires though only their paths and scents not the actual vampires. There was another smell one she was more accustom to. It smelled like a half breed, it made her more curious. She wondered if the coven had taken the little monster in or something. For as far as this hybrid knew no mother had survived. This made her think of Nahuel. She kind of wanted to go and see him too but... he was probably too busy, the thought of such made her nervous. She watched the house intently and thought to herself. She could make out at least four distinct scents... though she knew with a house as large as this she knew there had to be a few more. She had never met a vegetarian vampire either though she figured the coven just fed off the city though it looked like they were rooted there. Astrid ran her fingers through her unmanageable curly brown hair and pulled out a few leaves. She didn't know why she even bothered. She wore a pair of old ratty looking jeans that were very much frayed at the bottom and no shoes. Her gray tank top had a faded purple hoodie over the top of it. Astrid was all about comfort when it came to her apparel, when the ones she had were to the point of no return, though she didn't like it much, she would steal clothes from clothing lines and such. Though she lived a rather lonely life with the only family she had being her half brother, she thought it was better to live a life than none at all. Astrid straightened her purple hoodie tugging down the edges nervously as she stepped out of the thick brush and toward the house.

Rosalie heard something move as she was out hunting. silly, I thought everyone was gone at the moment. Maybe someone came back to the house? she thought to herself. She started running back toward the Cullen's house. As she got nearer she could smell the Vampire. Someone she hadn't met yet. "Hello?" She called out. She was sweet about it, but also firm.

"Hello."she said in a soft tone. "I apologize for tresspassing on your land..."she could tell that this female's scent was all around this area. "... I was just curious." Astrid was the kind of person who was easily trusted, there wasn't much question to it, though she had the ability to force trust onto people, she tried not to and let it come naturally. Her dark brown hair fell off her shoulders and onto her chest as she tilted her head to the side, she hadn't seen golden eyes before. Her sisters and her brother had different colored eyes but that was only because they were half-vampire like her. Any vampire she had come across was normally red-eyed, she had no idea why this female was different, she definately couldn't hear a heartbeat. Her stride was rather cautious, but not in a rude way. Just the way Astrid walked made it obvious she lived in the wild.

Rosalie looked at the girl. "It's fine. Who are you? Are you a Nomad? I don't smell Volturi on you. Where did you come from?" She was full of questions today. "I'm Rosalie Hale, I live with the Cullens here. We're Vegetarian Vampires. Judging by the look you're giving me, you've never heard of them have you?" She half smiled. Edward, you need to get down here and bring Carlisle with you. There's a nomad here. I don't know her scent. Rosalie thought. She knew that Edward would hear her.

Edward was in mid sentence with Carlisle when he heard his name being called as clear as if it had been out loud. Before Rose had finished speaking he was on his feet near the door. Turning to Carlisle he spoke quickly 'Rose is calling, there's a nomad near the house.' As he ran he listened for Rose's familiar 'voice', she was curious and on alert, scanning near her he found a voice of another female, also curious but more afraid. Hearing the familiar thrumming heartbeat and warmth in the air he listened for Nessie, but couldn't find her. Smelling for her scent he realised she was no where to be seen and was still trying to find the source of the sound when he approached Rose. His stance was relaxed as he walked up to Rose, 'Rosalie. And who do we have here?'

"Vegetarian? No I don't suspect I have."she said, she looked to the male now. Her expression changed a little, maybe she was scared? She was always a little tense around males, no matter who they were, minus her brother, he had always been a nice guy. But she avoided most contact from other males because they made her nervous. She looked back to the blonde woman and offered a soft smile. "I'm a nomad yes, my name is Astrid." She had stopped walking and crossed her arms. Astrid's eyes wandered off thinking of where she was last, "Well I believe I was in Mexico, then went through Califonia."she said, "I wasn't exactly expecting to run into such an interesting coven of vampires while I was headed to Canada." She let out a slow breath trying to even out her heart beat since it had been a little faster than it normally would have been. Her deep blue eyes flickered to Edward then to Rosalie, watching expressions. "But like I said, I was just curious."

Edward examined the girls blue eyes and listened to her comments on vampires and running. She must have been a hybrid, the only female hybrids he had heard of apart from his daughter were the sisters of Nahuel. He decided to let her explain for herself, 'You've travelled a far distance. And seemed to have gained a dangerous amount of knowledge. What are you and where do you come from?' He wanted his suspicions confirmed before any information about them was given. If she was a hybrid she was alarmingly relaxed around the company of strange vampires, she must know very few knew of the existence of hybrids and would mistake her as human.

"I don't think the amount of knowledge I have gained is dangerous. Well it would be if I was spreading it around, but I am no idiot."she said in a soft tone, she did not wish to offend the male, she was very much afraid of him. "I am a human-vampire halfbreed."she said pushing her hands further into her pockets. "Where I come from is a difficult question to answer. I can give you locations, such as France where I was born. Names of parents such as Cosette Beaufort, my mother whom I killed. My father is dead, a vampire named Joham." she wasn't completely comfortable expressing such information, she seemed more hurt by the memories. Like those of her mother that flashed through her brain, she was attempting to hide them from her expression but she was always very touchy on the subject. "As I said. I am here out of curiousity. I thought I smelled another half-breed. Maybe one of my sisters but probably not."she said thinking on it momentarily. She didn't know a sister was around here, but she was pretty sure there was another half-breed.
